CATERING FOR EVERYONE

We are specialists in plant-based and allergen free cooking, and our core ethos is to create 'inclusive' menus, that provide great food choices for everyone, regardless of their dietary requirements or lifestyle choices.

But whilst we love making planet-friendly, plant-led dishes, we are equally passionate about great quality and responsibly sourced animal proteins, and our range of menus provide plenty of options for carnivores, pescatarians or flexitarians as well as vegans. We always aim to provide great choice for everyone when we develop our menus.

LOCAL & SEASONAL ARE CORE TO SUSTAINABILITY

We are passionate about creating great tasting food that celebrates local, seasonal produce, which helps promote sustainability in local farming.

We have an extensive network of UK suppliers and producers who we love to partner with, and in doing so, help promote their businesses.

RE-PURPOSING SURPLUS TO TACKLE FOOD WASTE

We always aim to rescue food surplus from passionate suppliers and producers who, for many reasons, have extras. E.g. because of a gap between supply and demand, or because their products don't quite meet aesthetic standards. Whatever the reason, if the quality is still high, we love to use these ingredients to create culinary delights, and save food being otherwise wasted.

ZERO TO LAND-FILL GOALS

With sustainability at the heart of everything we do, we strive for zero to land-fill food waste in all our practices, and post any catering events. We therefore work with our food waste partners who do surplus food collection, so that food that is still good can be re-distributed where possible. Food which can't be used again is disposed of via our environmentally responsible food waste partners.

FOOD TELLS A STORY

We believe food can be used as an integral part of telling a story, and love nothing more than creating bespoke menus that tie in with a specific brand, product launch, theme, business style, or specific event.

Our partner suppliers can help you save on your operating costs by identifying opportunities for cheaper (and greener!) energy or water use, or waste management processes. You can then re-invest those savings into menu-development or training provided by the Sustainable Kitchen team.
